This definitely was an #ohbrently weekend! A few of the things that happened this weekend I'm not quite ready to talk about!! A good friend from MN ventured south to attend the NE/MN football game. In the end, she was very happy! I, of course, was sporting my Iowa gear - because why wouldn't I! Our other friend was sporting her NE gear so the three of us made quite the trio!
Brently's bestie from DM came for the game and when the two of them get together there is usually trouble! Mixing alcoholic beverages is never a good idea and when you pair that with someone that doesn't drink very much - well, you get the picture. AND pair that with a wife that is the DD - again...you get the picture.
Brently did have a great time - we all did. It was a great weekend. Makes you realize that friends are everything, and these people have been my friends for more than a quarter of a century.
I try to be thankful for my blessings all year round, but during the holiday season, I am thankful double!
Oh Brently....and other random crap!

Scarves and mittens and hats...oh my!
I was in the living room watching TV the other night (Madam Secretary - AWESOME show by the way) and Brently walks in with two grocery bags full of stuff. He stands there and looks at me so I put the show on pause (I love my DVR!) and look at him.
"I have all of our scarves, mittens and hats. You need to go through them and then separate them into three piles. One pile for Goodwill, one pile that you would like to keep but may not use and one pile that you will use." I looked at him and gave him a smirk. "What?" he exclaims with a small smile of his own. I smile, shake my head and say "Nothing..."
"Our stuff is scattered all over and I can't find anything..." he starts to explain himself.
"I know - it's fine," I respond. "Just put them down and I will do it." He places the bags on the foot stool and walks out.
I separated them. All is right in the world.

Welcome!
Brently is my husband and he does and says some seriously funny stuff. He is a smidge high maintenance. He is a clean freak. At times I call him "Mini-Monica" - Monica from Friends. Yep - that's him.
I tell stories about Brently to my friends. I post some on Facebook and on Twitter but I decided that I needed a place where I can tell the extended version of the story.
Brently is sweet and thoughtful. He can also get on my last nerve.
I also have some funny stories - weird stuff happens...things that make me laugh. I also, on occasion, can be funny.
Look for the hashtag #ohbrently - that is when you will want to pay attention!
